Environmental Excellence Awards
The Environmental Excellence Awards are a highlight of the Conference each year and awardees are recognized at the Tuesday Luncheon. This year’s theme is Successes in Collaboration. The Awards program is open to businesses, government, service industries, educational institutions, public works projects and non-governmental organizations. Self-nominations are accepted. All nominations are due on September 5. Learn more about the nomination process by clicking here.

Continuing Education Credits
Many IEA Conference Sessions can be applied toward the continuing education requirements for REM (Registered Environmental Managers), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Managers), and CPSWQ (Certified Professionals in Storm Water Quality). For your records and reporting purposes, IEA is offering an add-on in the registration process for a personalized Certificate of Attendance that will be emailed to you after the event. Note: Individuals are responsible for knowing their different continuing education requirements and for properly documenting their credits.
The Conference will seek approval by the State Bar of California to offer MCLE (Minimum Continuing Legal Education) credits. As the application must include the Conference presentations, approval will be sought after the event and pending approval will be retroactive.

Guest Rooms: IEA has a limited number of discounted rooms available at the Hilton. The special room rates will be available until September 26th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. The special room rate has a 72 hour cancellation policy prior to arrival. With the special rate the $19 resort charge will be waived and parking has been reduced to $17 per night per car.
